About Doug Markert ND.,DO (UK)

Background

doug and mauraDoug Markert has worked in the Complementary Health field for the last 25 years. In 1985, he successfully completed a four year program, which also included 1500 hours of supervised clinic work in the Colleges Clinic and a 25000 word thesis at the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy (est 1936) in London England. The college is now called the British College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduating, Doug set up a Naturopathy and Osteopathy practice in the London, UK area. In addition to his successful practice, he taught courses and seminars throughout Europe..As a practicing professional, Doug has continued his professional development mastering a variety of techniques that offer his patients safe, simple and very effective techniques.

Doug’s professional credentials and techniques include:

1 Completed the Foundation, Certification and Instructor courses at the Academy of Systemic Kinesiology, in Surrey, UK. Kinesiology is a system of health care using gentle non-invasive techniques to restore the body’s ability to heal itself and maintain well-being. Kinesiology uses muscle monitoring techniques to access knowledge stored in our bodies on cellular and energetic levels, identifying areas of stress or imbalance and looking for the cause behind the symptoms. Practicing kinesiology techniques gave Doug a solid basis for the development of further muscle testing techniques. Muscle testing is a non-invasive way of evaluating the body’s imbalances and assessing its needs. It involves testing the body’s responses when applying slight pressure to a large muscle, to provide information on energy blockages, the functioning of the organs, nutritional deficiencies, and food sensitivities, among other things.

2 Studied Bioenergetic Regulatroy Medicine(BER/Vega) with Dr Kenyon/Lewith at the Centre for the Study of AlternativeTherapies Southampton, England ) the courses were organized by Noma (Complex Homeopathy) Ltd. in Southampton, UK. The BER technique is a non-invasive organ based painless diagnostic method. One can also measure and treat the body’s resistance to allergens and intolerances.

3 Mastered the techniques of Total Body Modification (TBM) 12 years ago, becoming the first TBM tutor in Europe and teaching TBM courses in England, France and Belgium with Dr Victor Frank.

TBM techniques include using muscle testing and reflex points to eliminate the roadblocks to health, turn on the healing ability of the body and let the natural energy of your patients do the work for you. It is a simple process that can be used to treat and improve virtually every organ and system in the body, balance the body's reaction to allergens, balance blood pressure, address dehydration and other problems due to improper fluid handling and keep emotional problems from affecting the physical body.

4 Completed instructor training in Environmental Stress Management (ESM). ESM is the lay version of TBM. This technique was developed so the lay person could take more responsibility for their heath in their own home enviroment.

5 Completed Natural Healing courses with Randy Frank, this muscle testing course uses vials to harmonise structural, chemical, emotional imbalances within the body.

6 Completed Advanced Neurolink courses. Neurolink introducing his patients to a system for resetting the brain switches so it is able to look after the rest of the body. It is a remarkable diagnostic and treatment tool. The Neurolink philosophy is rooted in the neurophysiological principle that the brain governs optimum function of all the body’s’ systems. Unless the neurology (brain) is communicating appropriately with the physiology (body) a patient will never have complete wellness or recovery. Despite claims to the contrary, traditional healthcare management is still not addressing cause. Neurolink applies the principles of neuroscience to address WHY a patient’s neurophysiological function is causing their symptoms of ill-health.
